What stories are contained within our bones on a cellular level?
How do we dream in the face of darkness?
How do we draw on the lessons of collapse to build
beauty going forward?
Tales from Baba Yaga’s Post-Soviet Kingdom is autobiographical exploration of the collapse of the USSR
through the lens of contemporary fairytales and embodied inquiry.
Please join me for a bilingual evening of art, storytelling, and dreams/nightmares at the intersection of folklore and post-Soviet identity. I will be sharing my research, works-in-progress, and visions for the future.
I am incredibly grateful to Oregon Friends of Jung for allowing me to hold this talk at the Fae Dougan Library - Portland’s very own Jungian Library and archive of over 4,500 items in it’s growing collection.
Seating is limited, please contact me to reserve your spot.
